Drake Collapses On Stage – Bad Knee
Damn this kid is gifted and cursed. He can’t seem to keep this career rolling without stumbling (literally). Watch Drake take a big fall while performing The Best I’ve Ever Had.
Drake Talks Wayne

“Someone would really have to come to the studio to see me and Wayne together and how we work,” Drake said in an interview. “It’s the same sort of thing. I fear Wayne’s creativity. It’s endless. It’s a scary beast. He never takes one day off. When we get into the studio it is very competitive, but in a good way. You can’t just use a line you wrote Tuesday. Every line has to be thought out…I’m about two songs in. I really haven’t even started. The tour is really throwing me off, so I probably won’t start really working on it until September. It will probably come out Valentine’s Day next year.” (The Boom Box)
Diddy, Wayne, Mariah On Ice

Billboard Reports – Some of the most highly-anticipated albums of the summer have been delayed, including Mariah Carey’s “Memoirs of An imperfect Angel,” Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Last Train To Paris” and Lil Wayne’s proprter rock and roll album “Rebirth.”
Carey’s “Memoirs,” first slated for an August 25th release via Island Def Jam will now be available on September 15th according to the Universal Music Group business-to-business website. Carey’s new single, “Obsessed,” is at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
Combs said via a video interview with MTV News release last week that his project’s been delayed partially because it’s “Jay-Z time and Drake time — enjoy those guys. But the ‘Train’ is coming, baby,” he warns. “Get your ticket, you don’t want to be left out.”
Lil Wayne’s label publicist confirmed to Billboard.com that his release date has also been moved, although a new date hasn’t been scheduled yet. “Rebirth” was last slated for a June 23rd street date.
In addition, Amerie’s long-awaited return, “In Love & War,” which was originally slated for an August 11th release, will now be available on September 8th. Lead single, “Why R U,” reaches No. 62 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week.
Lil Wayne’s Babymamas – What Is Wrong With This Picture?

Two women alledgedly having boys by the same man Lil Wayne. I, a father of three, who works a 9 to 5 barely has enough time. Now you have a father of four who is on the road non stop. Lil Wayne is working constantly on many projects. Makes me wonder how he can possibly raise four babies by four different mothers. You may ask how is this anyones one else’s concern. I will say I could give two flying you know what’s on what Lil Wayne does. But after watching him innappropriately bring his daughter on stage last week at the BET Awards while singing about sexing Every Girl in the world, well it does make me raise an eyebrow. What message are we sending out to the youth? Have irresponsible sex, make babies, and move on the next girl.
How many children grow up in a fatherless home? We want to know whats wrong with our culture, but it all is rooted in the home. Women are not protecting themselves for whatever reason. I like to believe that they are naive and not just looking for a check or a way to lock down someone who is unattainable. Regardless of what the reason, you are doing a disservice to the children who see more of their father on TV than in person. Again what Wayne does is not my business, but what we do as individuals does affect the whole culture.
Drake Supposedly Signing To Universal

Apparently the word on the street, according to illseed over at Allhiphop.com is that your boy Drake will be signing to Universal. Now whether that is with Cash Money or not hasn’t been established. If Cash Money knows like I know, Wayne is hot, but that heat can’t last forever. It wouldn’t hurt to have the next big thing on their roster. But that is just me.
