Cable channel BET is in talks with “Game” producer CBS TV Studio about ordering a new season of the multicamera comedy, a spinoff from the long-running “Girlfriends.” The CW canceled “Game” in May after three seasons.

Eminem Derailed Mariah?
First it was the CD delays. Mariah’s latest album “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” has been pushed back to Sept. 29. Now she is pushing back events. She has pushed back her Walk Of Fame event that was scheduled for August 25, and also a tapping of Storytellers. Some have been buzzing that Eminem’s diss record has silenced the diva. Since the song leaked, she virtually dropped out of sight.
Her publicist told People there is no reason for concern: “These dates have been postponed and not canceled,” she said Friday.

TMZ Reports: Stokes’ Version — The incident started by the pool, when Sara innocently tripped and hit her face. Her husband tried to get something to clean her off and accidentally cut his arms on knives in the kitchen sink. But there’s more — Stokes claims the reason she accused her husband of tripping her was because she “suffered a concussion when she fell and was confused.” Stokes’ rep tells us the couple is “back together, ” “happy” and looking forward to the “truth coming out in court.”

Bow Wow Signs To Cash Money
In another questionable move out of the Cash Money camp, they have signed Bow Wow. Bow Wow who didn’t even break 100k on his last venture has join the roster of Lil Wayne, Baby, and Drake. I will say I am interested to see where this leads.
Allhiphop Reports:Lil Bow Wow has officially signed to Cash Money Records, the rapper revealed Sunday night.
The rapper made the admission via his Twitter page with a simple message that read, “BOW WOW SIGNS TO CASH MONEY.”
The rapper then took to a live stream where he talked further about the deal.
“Its the triple threat Bow, Wayne, Drake. Its about to be real stupid.”
“Any Bow Wow fan that I let down..what I am getting ready to do, I got y’all. I apologize to the fans that I let down. It’s finna to go down. Its on now, baby. Me, Drake and Weezy…lets get to the money.”

Quentin Tarantino signed autographs and talked to press recently at the Toronto premiere of Inglourious Basterds. On the red carpet, Quentin spoke about hanging out with Rihanna at the film’s recent London premiere.
“Oh she really really loved the movie, alright,” he told MuchNews. “So we talked about that and uh, she wants me to do a video so, we will see what we will see.”
The director says he might even be up for casting her in one of his films.

Teachers who complain about students, low wages and a host of other issues can learn from Sylvester Franklin. He has been teaching for almost 60 years with only two day off. Check the story below.
HASKELL, OK — 59 years at one job is inspiring, but 59 years teaching math and science to middle school students is impressive.
That’s the case for Sylvester Franklin, whose career started shortly after World War II came to an end. The only place he has ever taught is in Haskell, in Muskogee County.
A bustling hallway marks the start of a new school year in Haskell.
“Well I’m so glad you all are here this morning,” said Sylvester Franklin.
“Make sure you’re ready for class, that’s the main thing.”
Franklin is starting his 59th year as a school teacher in Haskell. This year it’s math to sixth graders.
“Mainly I stayed here all those years because I didn’t have any particular reason to leave,” said Franklin.
Now 84-years-old, Mr. Franklin started teaching shortly after fighting in the Battle of Okinawa during World War II.
He spent 16 years at Haskell’s all-black school before desegregation.
Drake And Motown Still Going At It
Via Billboard: Reps at Motown are requesting all Drake Billboard chart entries be credited to Motown and not Republic moving forward — a change that will be reflected in this week’s charts. A source close to Drake says the rapper is signed to Republic, but that Motown will distribute the album, alleging that Motown — specifically Rhone — wants to take “credit for anything involving Drake.” But a source at Universal says it seems as if Drake’s deal with Republic was never finalized before Drake and his camp started confirming it to the media, and that the move to Motown was made last minute. Motown may get first dibs on any artist signed to Young Money and Cash Money regardless of the artist’s preference.
