Why Did I Get Married 2?

While Variety has confirmed that Janet Jackson is the first cast member to sign on for the sequel ‘Why Did I Get Married Too,’ Black Voices has learned that her other co-stars (Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Malik Yoba, Tyler Perry and Richard T. Jones) will be returning to the film as well. The only one not involved in the production is Denise Boutte, who played Scott’s friend in the film. The movie is set for release on April 2, 2010, the start of next year’s Easter weekend. The first flick, ‘Why Did I Get Married?,’ which was based on Perry’s stage play, grossed $55 million domestically.
